Cowen Racing

Based in Perrysville, Ohio, Cowen Racing has a 30-year family racing tradition begininning with Bob Cowen who raced late model stock cars on dirt tracks throughout the Midwest.

From 1997 to 2002, Tim Cowen competed in the SCCA racing series, winning the SCCA National Championship in 2002. Tim competed in the Trans Am series from 2000 to 2005. Tim made 20 starts in the Trans Am series and finished in the top ten in seven of those events.

2006 saw Cowen Racing transition from Road Racing in the TransAm series to short track oval racing in the NASCAR East Series. In this series, Cowen Racing garnered a top ten finish at Watkins Glenn, New York.

In 2007, Cowen made his first NASCAR Truck Series start at Martinsville, Virginia. Racing in this series allowed the Cowen Racing team to race in front of a home crowd at Mansfield Motor Speedway.

In 2010, Cowen Racing will be a part of the ARCA Racing Series. In their race debut, Cowen Racing finished ninth at West Palm Beach, Florida.
