| Cowen awards drivers each year with safe driving awards. These are awarded for years of safe driving without a chargeable accident. This year we awarded 53 safe driver awards. Awards were as high as 26 years safe driving down to one year. They totaled 368 years of safe driving with over 44 million safe miles. |

 WHAT OUR DRIVERS DO IN THEIR SPARE TIME
• Volunteer with the local fire department
• Participate in programs such as Trucker Buddies with local elementary schools
• Enter their equipment in National Truck Shows (please see photo below)
• Volunteer to participate in parades with their trucks
• Volunteer their salary to haul community service loads to flood, hurricane, and drought victims
• Volunteer as Cub Scout leaders in their community
• Participate in the local Relay for Life fundraiser for American Cancer Society
